Hello Everyone,
As some of you don't know I was born deaf (although that has been fixed) I suffered a loss of a sense for half a decade until the age of 5. So i'm going to write about the first 2 songs I ever listened to and write about my favorite albums up to this date and why they're my favorite albums.
The first song I ever got to enjoy although this song is very cheesy (some may class this as a guilty pleasure) was Melanie C's "I TURN TO YOU" which is heavily based with synthetic pop with synthesizers and bass, a song which you'd expect to hear in a nightclub in Ibiza. The thing that really drew me to the song was the music video.

The second song I heard which was in a rock chart (I think it was Kerrang!). "The Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne" with a popular hit of his "It Gets Me Through" This is still one of my favorite tracks to date! I love the dark sound and heavy guitar and drums! The lyrics links to many people's life on how complex and hard it is to please those who shall not be pleased!
These songs were the start of something magical and a major interest into music and the art it beholds! These also started the varied taste of music which I enjoyed! Although over time I gathered some favorite albums and here are the top 5 albums which I love to this date some are old and some are very new so let's get started!
1. Lana Del Rey - Born To Die
As many of you may know my love for Lana Del Rey is unconditional and I am totally obsessed with her creativeness and her personas on stage and musically from her early days as "Lizzy Grant" all the way up to her current music as "Lana Del Rey" and it's very safe to say I'm looking forward to "ULTRAVIOLENCE". My favorite track on this album is "National Anthem"
2. Against Me! - Transgender Dysphoria Blues
This record is my favorite punk album in existence as it contains something close to my heart EQUALITY. The rawness and emotion that went into this record is amazing! This album is really underrated in my opinion and if you like punk music with profound language then it's a must buy so go add it to your record collection! My favorite track on this album is "FuckMyLife666"
3. Amanda Palmer - Theater Is Evil
This record has such a great story behind it including the making the journey Amanda went through to create this work of art! I love how she asked us to fund this album and it shows there is faith in humanity to restore the moral fiber in a musician such as Amanda Palmer! Go give it a download it's free and you can always donate some money! My favorite track on this album is "The Killing Type"
4. Sky Ferreira - Night Time, My Time
This record recreates such rawness and provides something different in the music industry. She tells us that we don't always get the correct message in music and that is okay because music is perceived in multiple of ways! I hope to hear more from Sky and I know it's going to keep getting better! My favorite track on the album is "Nobody Asked (If I Was Okay)"
5. Black Casino And The Ghost - Some Dogs Think They're Name Is No
This record complies some amazing musicianship with haunting vocals, This record has such originality but adds something old school to the music industry and no track is the same. I urge people to go download this record and embrace the darkness that this record provides! My favorite track on this album is "Johnny Boy".
